Research Use Only Policy
Purpose & Scope
CDX Compounds (“CDX,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) supplies research-use-only (“RUO”) peptide compounds intended exclusively for qualified scientific and laboratory research. This Research Use Only Policy explains the scope of that designation and the responsibilities that come with purchasing or accessing materials from CDX Compounds.
This policy applies to every product listed in the CDX Compounds research catalog and to all researchers, laboratories, universities, and biotechnology organizations that interact with CDX Compounds.
Intended Use
All materials supplied by CDX Compounds are intended strictly for laboratory and preclinical scientific research. Appropriate uses include, without limitation:
- In vitro and in vivo laboratory research conducted by qualified personnel
- Academic and institutional scientific investigation
- Analytical or reference use within a controlled research environment
Prohibited Uses
Materials supplied by CDX Compounds are not intended for human or veterinary use. Without limitation, materials may not be used for:
- Human or animal consumption, administration, or application of any kind
- Diagnosis, treatment, cure, mitigation, or prevention of any disease or condition
- Cosmetic, athletic, bodybuilding, weight-management, or anti-aging use
- Resale for any purpose inconsistent with legitimate scientific research
Researcher Eligibility
Access to the CDX Compounds catalog is intended for qualified researchers, laboratories, universities, and biotechnology or pharmaceutical organizations engaged in legitimate scientific investigation. CDX Compounds may request confirmation of research affiliation or intended use prior to fulfilling an order.
Order & Account Verification
By placing an order, the purchaser affirms that they are acquiring materials solely for qualified research purposes and agrees to the terms of this policy, our Terms & Conditions, and applicable law. CDX Compounds reserves the right to request additional information to verify research intent and to decline any order that does not meet these requirements.
Compliance & Monitoring
CDX Compounds reserves the right to monitor orders for patterns inconsistent with legitimate research use and to decline service to any purchaser it reasonably believes is acquiring materials outside the scope of this policy.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Material changes will be reflected by an updated revision date on this page.
